  2. Loan╖Calculator! Plus v1.0s

  4.   Loan╖Calculator! Plus is easy to install. It does not modify any of
  5. your system files such as AUTOEXEC.BAT or CONFIG.SYS. Nor does it modify
  6. any Window .INI files such as SYSTEM.INI. Additionally, should after
  7. evaluating Loan╖Calculator! Plus, you decide that you don't want to
  8. continue using the program, there is an automatic UnInstall utility
  9. included.

  11. ** To install Loan╖Calculator! Plus:
  12.  
  13.   Before you install Loan╖Calculator! Plus, close all other Windows
  14.   programs.
  15.  
  16.   1. Place the Loan╖Calculator! Plus disk into drive A: or drive
  17.      B:.
  18.  
  19.   2. From the Program Manager, select File and then Run.
  20.  
  21.   3. Type:

  23.       A:INSTALL <Enter>
  24.  
  25.      where A: is the letter of the drive in which you installed
  26.      the disk.
  27.  
  28.      Now follow the on screen prompts. Below details what will be happening.

  30.   4. Enter the directory to which you want to install
  31.      Loan∙Calculator! Plus.
  32.      The default directory is C:\LOANPLUS. To change the name,
  33.      simply start typing the new drive and directory. If you want
  34.      to place Loan╖Calculator! Plus beneath an existing directory,
  35.      select the button to the right of the directory name that has
  36.      three periods in it.

  38.   5. Select Continue after you make your selection to accept your
  39.      choices and continue the process.
  40.  
  41.   NOTE: Select Exit Install if you wish to postpone installation
  42.         until later.

  44.   6. Enter your user name and organization.
  45.      Loan╖Calculator! Plus asks you for your name and that of your
  46.      organization. You must enter at least your name.
  47.  
  48.   7. After you enter your name and organization, select Continue
  49.      to continue installation. Confirm the name and organization
  50.      is correct by selecting Yes.
  51.  
  52.      If you select No, you will have an opportunity to re-enter
  53.      your name and organization. If you select Yes, Loan∙Calcula-
  54.      tor! Plus is installed onto your computer. A horizontal bar
  55.      indicates the progress of the installation.

  57.   8. Enter the group into which you want to place Loan╖Calculator!
  58.      Plus.
  59.      To keep all the Loan╖Calculator! Plus icons together, you may
  60.      want to accept the standard group of Loan! Plus. Otherwise,
  61.      you can select the down arrow and place Loan╖Calculator! Plus
  62.      into an existing group.
  63.  
  64.   NOTE: You can also choose Skip to avoid placing Loan╖Calculator!
  65.         Plus in a group at this time. If you choose this option,
  66.         you will have to manually add icons for Loan╖Calculator!
  67.         Plus at a later time. This choice is not recommended for
  68.         novices.

  70.   9. Choose Create to place Loan╖Calculator! Plus in the chosen
  71.      directory.

  73.   10.Select "OK" to acknowledge that Loan╖Calculator! Plus was
  74.      successfully installed.
  75.      You are returned to the Windows Program Manager. If you chose
  76.      the default settings, note that a new group was created and
  77.      nine icons were placed in the group.

  79. ** STARTING Loan╖Calculator! PLUS
  80.  
  81.   Once Loan╖Calculator! Plus is installed, you can start it using
  82.   these steps.

  84.   To start Loan╖Calculator! Plus

  86.   1. Start Windows, if you haven't already.
  87.  
  88.   2. Double-click the Loan! Plus icon from the group in which you
  89.      placed Loan╖Calculator! Plus.
  90.  
  91.   3. When Loan╖Calculator! Plus starts, you will see an
  92.      introductory screen if you have an unregistered shareware
  93.      version. You may quickly proceed to the main menu by pressing
  94.      the Enter key or selecting "OK."
  95.      If you want to print an order form, select "Order." If you
  96.      select "Bonus," you can read about the benefits of register-
  97.      ing Loan╖Calculator! Plus and other programs available from
  98.      Pine Grove Software.

  100.   4. Make your menu selection.
  101.      As you can see, Loan╖Calculator! Plus is very simple to use.
  102.      You select one of the six calculators from the {Calculators}
  103.      menu.

  105.   NOTE: Once you register your copy of Loan╖Calculator! Plus, the
  106.         registration reminder screen disappears, the increasing
  107.         delay in starting the program is removed, and up to five
  108.         copies of one calculator can be displayed at one time in-
  109.         stead of just two.
